There has been plenty of fear-mongering occurring within the Democratic Party as of late, with a vast number of “resistance” figures predicting the worst for America under President Donald Trump.
When we talk about scaring up votes, the left is taking it literally. They are consistently telling their constituents that the sky will fall down around them should Donald Trump remain in the Oval Office.
And, even if he loses the 2020 election, some on the left are even suggesting that the President could simply refuse to concede, claiming some sort of international interference in the process, or using the GOP-packed Supreme Court to pave the way for a perpetual presidency.
Former South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg says that, should he win the White House and find Trump reluctant to leave, the Indiana Democrat will simply put him to work.
A voter asked Buttigieg what he would do if Trump said, “No, this is all a hoax,” and refusing to concede.
Buttigieg said, “I mean, if he won’t leave, I guess if he’s willing to do chores, I guess we could work something out.”
He continued, “I think we want to set a goal of winning big enough that this election is way beyond cheating distance and that Trumpism goes into the history books, too.”
There is no reason to believe that President Trump would remain in office past such a time as he loses an election or completes his second term. The Commander in Chief has frequently and obviously joked about the hysteria, however, with a number of liberal social media users seemingly unable to discern that his tweets are meant to be humorous.
