Adult Content Creator Arrested After Stabbing Man

A 30-year-old Atlanta-based online content creator was arrested Thursday night following a reported altercation inside a Miami Beach apartment that left a man with minor injuries, according to an arrest report obtained by Local 10.

Police identified the suspect as La’Rose Angel Sainte, who was booked on one felony count of aggravated battery along with three misdemeanor charges. Sainte is being held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on a $1,650 bond.

The incident allegedly occurred around 9:30 p.m. at the Edwards Apartments on Collins Avenue in South Beach.

According to police, the victim told officers he had met Sainte approximately three weeks earlier and invited the individual to his apartment. The man stated that after Sainte arrived, he told Sainte they would not be engaging in sexual activity. An argument reportedly followed.

The arrest report states that during the dispute, Sainte allegedly asked the man for his car keys and money. The victim told police that as he walked toward the bathroom, Sainte pushed him, causing him to fall near the bathtub, and then struck him multiple times in the face.

Police said the man briefly left the apartment but returned after hearing what he believed was property being damaged. Upon re-entering, he told officers that Sainte grabbed a shard of glass from a broken mirror and stabbed him, resulting in minor cuts to his left hand.

Authorities said Sainte fled the scene. A police drone operator later located a person matching the suspect’s description entering an SUV. Officers conducted a traffic stop and took Sainte into custody without further incident.

Investigators reported damage to two pairs of sunglasses, a mirror, and a refrigerator door handle inside the apartment.

The arrest report indicates Sainte may have been intoxicated at the time of the incident. Police wrote that Sainte allegedly retrieved a knife from a drawer during the confrontation and made a threatening statement before eventually dropping it. The victim told officers Sainte also slapped him twice.

The case remains under investigation.
