As beef becomes climate enemy numero uno, democrats cook up 10K steaks in Iowa

Over the years, there have been no shortage of culprits for the existence of “global warming”, and 2019’s boogeyman has been beef – plain and simple.

Carbon emissions from the meat industry, along with the methane produced by cows themselves, have long been considered detrimental to the health of our environment.  Former US President Barack Obama was infamous for his tirades against “cow farts”, a thought that at the time seemed quite humorous.

Now liberal eco-warriors are dead serious about the flatulence of soon-to-be Whoppers and Big Macs, taking their “climate change” fight to the farm in earnest.

But that didn’t seem to matter to the glut of 2020 democratic candidates who worked to cook up well over 10,000 hunks of beef at a famous “steak fry” campaign event.

Democrat presidential candidates took part in the Polk County Democrats Steak Fry in Iowa Saturday, which featured thousands of sizzling steaks.

Their participation follows weeks of climate change alarmism from the presidential candidates, many of whom have signaled support for limiting beef consumption in order to combat what they say is a looming climate catastrophe.

According to reports, organizers were prepared to grill roughly 10,500 steaks plus 1,000 vegan burgers. Seventeen candidates attended the event, including:

Hypocrisy is nothing new for the liberal left, but this latest bit of “do as I say, not as I do” politicking is pure bull.
