Biden Comments On Border

On Wednesday, President Joe Biden went back on his promise to secure the southern border by signing a $95 billion foreign aid bill. The move came as a surprise to many Americans who were hoping to see action on the ongoing crisis at the border.

The bill, which will send billions of dollars to countries like Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan, does not include any measures for border security. This is especially concerning given the fact that the president had previously negotiated a bipartisan border security bill earlier this year, claiming it to be the “strongest this country has ever seen.”

However, Republicans ultimately rejected the bill, citing concerns that it would simply provide amnesty for illegal immigrants already in the country without addressing the root of the problem.

During his speech after signing the foreign aid bill, Biden took a moment to address his failure to include any border security measures. He lamented the fact that the bill did not address this issue and promised to get it done for the American people in the future. But this is little consolation for the millions of Americans who are facing the consequences of the president’s inaction.

Meanwhile, the ongoing border crisis continues to escalate as more and more illegal immigrants pour into the country. This is not a surprise, considering the fact that Biden spent his first few days in office undoing the very border security measures implemented by former President Donald Trump.

And it’s not just Republicans who are concerned about the lack of action on securing the border. A recent poll showed that a majority of Americans, including Democrats, consider illegal immigration and border security to be top issues going into the 2024 presidential election. This clearly indicates that the president is out of touch with the priorities of the American people.

As if the lack of action on securing our borders wasn’t enough, the Democrat-led Senate also recently killed Republican efforts to impeach Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. This move further undermines any hope of addressing the crisis at the border.

Biden’s actions are not in line with the will of the people, and his empty promises do nothing to alleviate the growing concerns about our national security and the well-being of our citizens. It’s time for the president to take real action and prioritize securing our borders before it’s too late.
