Bernie Offers Freshman Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez Administration Position

The Democratic field for 2020 is still far, far too large to be of any use.

There are nineteen candidates still vying for a shot at the Oval Office, even at this late stage in the game.  Worse still is the fact that there have been only three real, possible candidates that could find themselves on top of the heap at this point.

Of those three, perhaps the least surprising is Bernie Sanders.  The septuagenarian Vermont Senator was a strong contender back in 2016, but ultimately ceded to a scheme of collusion between the DNC and the Hillary Clinton campaign in order to rig the primaries against him.

Now, as Sanders maintains a healthy third place in national polling, (despite his recent heart attack and stent installation), he is beginning to reach out to the farthest, most radical of the leftist voting block.

Sanders knows that the quickest way to get to a progressive’s heart is through Freshman Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez – and that is why he has preemptively hired her for his White House.

The two appeared in a joint interview on CBS, where the following exchange took place.

When asked if Ocasio-Cortez  would work in his  administration, Sanders said, “Yes, you would.”

Ocasio-Cortez said, “Well, I know, I guess I know you’ll ask.”

Earlier in the appearance Sanders was asked if AOC could possibly be his running mate for 2020, with the freshman Congresswoman explaining to the interviewer that she is too young for that.

AOC and fellow “squad” member Rep. Ilhan Omar both endorsed Bernie Sanders for President this week, just days after the ailing politician took to the debate stage for the first time since his medical episode.
