Beto gets blasted by female gun-rights advocate: ‘Hell no you won’t!’

Beto O’Rourke has been having a rough go of it in the 2020 election, failing time and again to poll anywhere near double digits nationally.

In fact, O’Rourke has been hard pressed to reach even 5% in the crowded field of candidates, forcing the Texan to constantly rebrand himself within the race.  His latest rebirth has him not only pressing harder to the left than ever before, but doing so with a bravado and an anger not previously seen.

This new Beto was seen during the last democratic debate declaring that “Hell yes, we’re going to take your AR-15’s”, in response to the idea that gun confiscation would be a part of his administration’s plan for the Second Amendment.

There has been serious pushback on this unconstitutional idea, and not only from the right side of the aisle on Capitol Hill.

A Colorado woman confronted Democratic presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke Thursday on his controversial proposal to go after high-powered weapons through a mandatory buyback program.

“I am here to say: Hell, no, you’re not,” Lauren Boebert told O’Rourke during a town hall event in Aurora, Colo., passionately defending her rights under the Second Amendment.

“I have four children, I am 5-foot-0, 100 pounds, I cannot really defend myself with a fist. … I want to know how you’re going to legislate that because a criminal breaks the law, so all you’re going to do is restrict law-abiding citizens, like myself.”

O’Rourke’s bold proclamation was even made into a t-shirt sold by the campaign, as an attempt to cash in on this far-left battlecry.

Beto is currently polling at 3% nationally according to Real Clear Politics.
