‘Centrist’ Biden Teams Up with Radical Bernie Sanders to Take Dems Hard Left

The Democrats have given their own party the classic “bait and switch” for 2020, and no one has yet called them out on it.

The party, which was most vocal at its youngest and most radical, has decided to cede to the old guard, nominating mucho-moderate Joe Biden as their 2020 nominee.  Biden was perhaps one of the most moderate candidates in the bunch and, as such, captured the eye of the party’s dinosaur-like leadership.  Thus, he is their nominee.

But Biden knows now, through the follies of Hillary Clinton before him, that owning only the  middle right of the party won’t get him the support he needs to win an general election.

That’s why Biden just threw a big bone to Bernie Sanders.

Former Vice President Joe Biden and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) released the policy recommendations of their “unity task force” on Wednesday.

The proposed platform marks Biden’s continued shift to the left, as the so-called “moderate” candidate — a label he has rejected — continues to be steered toward more radical positions to appeal to the party’s base, offering “revolutionary institutional changes.”

This pledge includes several eco-based promises, including a declaration that every school bus in the nation would be a zero emissions vehicle within the next ten years, and a guarantee that the USA would rejoin the Paris Climate Accord on day one of a Biden presidency.
