So far, the Democratic National Convention has been a complete and utter mess.
The mostly-virtual event has suffered from all the usual trappings of one of these “clip shows”, where the talent just sends in whatever canned gibberish they feel like. All of the moods and messages are jumbled up, with no cohesive attitude to hold it all together. This has give the DNC a disjoined feeling, that, cynically, matches the mood of the entire divided party itself.
The list of speakers for the event has been mostly predictable: AOC giver her nod to the radical and progressive, Bill Clinton showed up to remind everyone that he was still alive, and Hillary spent her time reminiscing about her own loss back in 2016…as if anybody even asked.
But their night four lineup may just be the strangest yet.
Hunter Biden, the beleaguered son of Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden, will deliver remarks during Thursday’s edition of the Democrat National Convention (DNC), according to organizers.
Hunter and Ashley Biden will speak about their father in a video ahead of his acceptance of the Democrat White House nomination.
This could prove to be a disastrous choice for the Democrats, on account of the ample ammunition that the GOP has when it comes to Hunter.
President Donald Trump and his re-election campaign have repeatedly targeted Biden and his son’s dealings in Ukraine and China, with the president telling Breitbart News in a recent Oval Office interview that the entire Biden family was “corrupt.”
“Hunter Biden came away with $1.5 billion, of which he gets big fees on. It’s not a possible thing to do,” the president told Breitbart News. “You can’t do that. It doesn’t—nobody has done that. Nobody has done that. China doesn’t do that. But he walked away in ten minutes with one-and-a-half-billion dollars. He gets fees on it. Ukraine, the same thing.”
We’ll just have to wait and see how this controversial decision plays out.
