Hello everyone! It’s time to take a hard look at the media’s latest act of spin and deceit. With Joe Biden stepping down as the 2024 Democratic Party presidential nominee, the national press is in full gear, rewriting history faster than you can say “border czar.” Kamala Harris is now poised to take up the mantle, and it seems her entire political career is getting a shiny new coat of paint, courtesy of our friends at Axios.
As reported by RedState, Axios published an article attacking Republicans for calling Harris the “border czar.” There’s just one tiny problem with that narrative. Back in 2021, Axios themselves published an article stating she was, in fact, the “border czar.” The first rule of holes is simple: when you’re in one, stop digging. But Axios, in their infinite wisdom, decided to add an editor’s note, throwing themselves under the bus for once, referring to Harris as the “border czar.” Yes, they wrote an entire article claiming Republicans were lying, only to admit they had reported the same thing. Classic!

Let’s get one thing straight: this behavior is downright Soviet. Joe Biden clearly and directly put Kamala Harris in charge of the border crisis in 2021. This is not a Republican conspiracy theory. Biden’s words were unequivocal, and the reporting at the time praised Harris for taking on such a significant role. Now that it’s clear she’s failed spectacularly, the press is working overtime to erase that responsibility from the record. Call it Soviet, Orwellian, or just plain deceitful, it’s astonishing to see how far these “news” outlets will go to protect Harris.

The facts are simple and undeniable. Harris was put in charge of the border crisis by Biden. She did not solve the core issues plaguing the border. She didn’t even come close. Now, as she stands on the brink of becoming the Democratic nominee, the media is scrambling to shield her from any blame. It’s not just dishonest; it’s a complete betrayal of what journalism is supposed to be.
Harris is not a bystander. She is the Vice President of one of the most disastrous administrations in American history. She was tasked with addressing the root causes of migration and utterly failed. The press can play their semantic games and try to rewrite history all they want, but the American people are not buying it.
