Florida Offers CRAZY Bonus to Out-of-State Cops Fired For…

Under the guidance of Governor Ron DeSantis, the State of Florida has turned into an anti-vaccine haven.

DeSantis has consistently erred on the side of freedom in recent months, pushing back against the idea of mask and vaccine mandates, and suggesting that Floridians have every right to choose the level of risk that they take when it comes to the COVID-19 pandemic.  This has, unsurprisingly, garnered a great deal of attention from the liberal left, as well as lawyers working for multinational corporations operating in the Sunshine State.

Now DeSantis is taking Florida’s freedom stance a bit further, and is attempting to poach liberty-centric police officers from abroad who’ve lost their jobs on account of local vaccine mandates.

During an appearance on “Sunday Morning Futures” with Maria Bartiromo, DeSantis said he is now “actively working” to recruit out-of-state police officers who have been fired or placed on unpaid leave due to their city’s vaccine mandate.

“We’re actually actively working to recruit out-of-state law enforcement, because we do have needs in our police and our sheriff’s departments. So, in the next legislative session, I’m going to hopefully sign legislation that gives a $5,000 bonus to any out-of-state law enforcement that relocates in Florida,” DeSantis said.

Then came a specific and pointed plea:

“So, NYPD, Minneapolis, Seattle, if you’re not being treated well, we will treat you better here. You can fill important needs for us, and we will compensate you as a result,” he added.

DeSantis would go on to lament these vaccine mandates as “unconstitutional”, and raised concerns over the economic and societal impact of so many essential employees leaving the workforce at once.
