Fox News host Mark Levin ignited controversy late Monday night with a pointed and increasingly personal exchange targeting Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), deepening a public rift within the pro-Trump movement over U.S. military engagement in the Middle East. Levin’s remarks, posted on social media platform X, came after Greene criticized both President Donald Trump’s decision to bomb Iranian nuclear sites and the conservative media figures defending it.
Levin, a longtime conservative commentator and vocal supporter of U.S. interventionist policies, lashed out at Greene, writing:
“MTG, God are you stupid. And you keep banging your head against the wall. Thankfully, POTUS ignored you and hit the Iranian nuclear sites.”
Seriously, folks. These are the ramblings of an unbelievably unhinged crackpot. I’ll do my best to ignore Marjorie Traitor GreenE. No promises, of course. But it seems utterly hopeless. She’s needs help.https://t.co/SiHe3gU8ZQ

The attack followed Greene’s Monday post opposing the strikes, in which she stated she could “support nuclear armed Israel’s right to defend themselves” while also refusing to back what she called “foreign wars on behalf of foreign interests.” Greene has positioned herself as a vocal anti-war Republican within the Trump-aligned base, often citing America’s national debt and the cost of overseas conflicts.
Responding to Levin’s criticism, Greene fired back, calling him a “shameless nitwit,” and rejecting the notion that U.S. strikes on Iran advance American security. “America is $37 TRILLION in debt,” she wrote, “and all of these foreign wars have cost Americans TRILLIONS AND TRILLIONS of dollars that never benefited any American.”
I’m told Marjorie Traitor GreenE’s head is exploding all over social media. Your tax dollars at work, folks.

Levin escalated the feud by warning Greene that she had now drawn his attention.
“You’re on my radar,” he wrote. The cryptic remark drew immediate backlash from some online, with users accusing Levin of “threatening” a sitting member of Congress and sowing division within the conservative movement. “You are showing us just how dysfunctional we can be,” one follower wrote. Another called his behavior “dangerous” and demanded Fox News sever ties with him.
Greene, for her part, insisted her opposition to the Iran strikes stems from conviction, not disloyalty to Trump. “I can also support President Trump and his great administration… while disagreeing on bombing Iran and getting involved in a hot war that Israel started,” she said.
For someone who loves war so much, why didn’t you raise either of your children to join the military? https://t.co/H5sncQyMXQ

The spat reflects a growing fracture within the Trump-aligned right, particularly between neoconservative-leaning voices like Levin and populist Republicans like Greene and Tucker Carlson, who have been critical of U.S. involvement in foreign wars. Levin has spent weeks publicly criticizing isolationist figures on the right, often lumping them together as naive or historically ignorant.
Earlier Monday, Levin had mocked Greene’s suggestion that she doesn’t know anyone personally affected by Iran, writing, “How incredibly dumb is this Marjorie Taylor Green? You mean the thousands of Americans, especially military personnel, killed and maimed by the Iranian terrorist regime?” Greene retorted by correcting the spelling of her name: “And my last name is Greene.”
