Giuliani Associates Arrested at Airport with One Way Tickets

The heat is certainly being turned up in DC this week, as President Trump’s defiance of House Democrats is countered by a major arrest at Washington Dulles Airport.

The President and his people have been attempting to distance themselves from allegations of an improper relationship with the tiny European nation of Ukraine after a series of whistleblower complaints were filed, alluding to a national security issue on the matter.

Of those involved, President Trump and his personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani have been vociferous in their own defenses, via Twitter and the mainstream media, respectively.

Now, after Trump himself effectively told the Democrats to shove their subpoenas where the sun doesn’t shine, the left is turning the screws again, as the FBI arrest two close friends of Rudy Giuliani.

Two Florida businessmen tied to President Donald Trump’s lawyer and the Ukraine impeachment investigation were charged Thursday with federal campaign finance violations.

The charges relate to a $325,000 donation to a group supporting Trump’s reelection.

Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman, associates of Rudy Giuliani, were arrested Wednesday trying to board an international flight with one-way tickets at Dulles International Airport in Virginia, according to Geoffrey Berman, the U.S. attorney in Manhattan.

Parnas and Fruman were arrested on a four-count indictment that includes charges of conspiracy, making false statements to the Federal Election Commission and falsification of records. The men had key roles in Giuliani’s efforts to launch a Ukrainian corruption investigation against Democratic presidential contender Joe Biden and his son Hunter.

Is this the Deep State using the FBI to tighten the figurative noose on Trump and Giuliani, or does this just play into the President’s need for a speedy conclusion to this whole impeachment fiasco?

We will have to wait to find out.
