Hillary Clinton, of All People, Tweets That ‘No One is Above The Law’

The exasperation that we have witnessed on the left side of the aisle as of late is manifesting itself in all manner of behavior, from hypocrisy to hyperbole and back again.

It’s all a part of that “holier than thou” attitude that arises whenever one political party believes that they have the upper hand on their congressional opponents, and it certainly isn’t the healthiest behavior to be portraying on the world’s stage.

Nevertheless, the Democrats are really leaning into it this time, with some of their most prominent public figures spouting complete gibberish that refuses to take into account their own actions.

Take Hillary Clinton, for example.

Hillary Clinton on Thursday reacted to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) instructing House Democrats to move forward by drafting articles of impeachment, remarking, “no one is above the law.”

“In the United States of America, no one is above the law,” Clinton wrote following Pelosi’s impeachment announcement…

The sentiment is patently absurd coming from Clinton, who has long been considered the poster child for political corruption, and upon whom the Democrats can squarely place the blame for the election of Donald Trump.

Clinton infamously worked with the DNC to rig the 2016 primaries against Bernie Sanders, ensuring that she would be the nominee to face Trump.  Then, as this illegal and immoral act was outed by the work of Julian Assange and Wikileaks, a large swath of the Democratic Party turned on Clinton, thus weakening the party enough to allow Trump a victory.

For Clinton to claim that no one is “above the law” is simply laughable, given her past actions.
