Kamala Takes Part In Town Hall event With Famous Radio Host

Vice President Kamala Harris’s recent interview with Charlamagne Tha God was supposed to be a charm offensive aimed at shoring up support from Black voters—particularly Black men, who polls show are drifting away from the Democratic Party. But, after an hour of dodging questions and serving up canned responses, it’s hard to imagine this helped her much. Charlamagne didn’t shy away from tough topics, bringing up her record as a prosecutor, the Biden administration’s border failures, and even reparations. And what did Harris do? She stuck to the same old talking points we’ve heard on repeat.

Let’s start with her opening salvo: Charlamagne pointed out that people say she sounds scripted. Harris’s response? “You’re welcome.” Yes, you read that right. Apparently, sticking to a script is now a virtue. She called it “discipline,” but most people would call it avoiding real conversations. She went on about how repetition is necessary so voters “receive” her message. Sounds more like she’s worried people might catch on if she says something real for a change. It’s not discipline, Kamala—it’s dodging.

Then Charlamagne hit her with a real zinger: her record on locking up Black men on drug charges while she was San Francisco’s District Attorney.

“One of the biggest pieces of misinformation, one of the biggest allegations against you is that you targeted and locked up thousands of Black men in San Francisco,” Charlamagne said. “Some say you did it to boost your career. Some say you did it out of pure hate for Black men. Please tell us the facts.”

Predictably, Harris dismissed it as “misinformation.” Sure, she’s all for decriminalizing marijuana now, but back then? Nearly 2,000 marijuana convictions under her watch. So much for being the “most progressive prosecutor” she claims she was. Talk about rewriting history.

And speaking of rewriting history, Charlamagne also pressed her on the border. Here’s where things really went off the rails. Harris actually tried to blame Trump for the Biden administration’s border mess, saying they tried to fix immigration on day one. Really? Because last time we checked, the border crisis has only gotten worse since Biden and Harris took office. Record numbers of illegal crossings, overwhelmed border agents, and sanctuary cities asking for federal help. But hey, it’s all Trump’s fault, right?

Oh, and let’s not forget the reparations question. Harris, in classic politician fashion, said reparations “need to be studied.” Translation: don’t expect anything concrete. It’s the kind of non-answer that’s been used for years to kick the issue down the road without actually addressing it. It’s like telling someone you’ll think about fixing a leaky roof while the house floods.

This town hall was clearly an attempt to win back Black voters, especially after Barack Obama recently called out Black men for not being enthusiastic enough about Harris. But here’s the problem: people aren’t losing enthusiasm because they don’t care; they’re losing it because they see through the empty promises. Harris and the Biden administration have had years to improve their rhetoric, but what have we gotten? More crime, more border chaos, and vague promises about reparations that will “be studied.”

However, it was the comments that showed just how those that listened felt about Kamala. These are savage.

Charlamagne asked the questions people want answers to, but Harris just gave them the same old talking points. It’s no wonder polls show Trump making gains with Black men—he at least doesn’t sound like a broken record.
