At first glance, it would appear that the democratic party has a recent bounce in their step. They are far more spry than normal during television appearances, and their verbal wit appears to be sharpened.
This is likely due to this latest “formal impeachment inquiry” announcement from Nancy Pelosi, not a moment too soon either. The metaphorical lemmings of the democratic party were very near the edge of the cliff when Pelosi called off the culling.
But we mustn’t be fooled. There is still much danger in this latest mood swing of the liberals. If they appear too confident, too cocksure, they’ll blow the whole thing.
If there’s anything that the American people hate more than a traitor it’s a braggart.
Perhaps thats’ why Nancy Pelosi’s latest interview is so morose and somber.
Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi said Saturday that she is heartbroken and prayerful as House Democrats move forward with their impeachment inquiry and that President Donald Trump’s actions left her no other choice.
Add Democratic Party as an interest to stay up to date on the latest Democratic Party news, video, and analysis from ABC News.“This is a very sad time for our country. There is no joy in this,” she said. “We must be somber, we must be prayerful and we must pursue the facts further to make a decision as to, Did this violate the Constitution of the United States? Which I believe it did.”
This well-caculcated splash of cold water continued…
“I’m heartbroken about it. I would just have hoped that there would be something exculpatory, something that would say, ‘This is not what it seems to be,’ but that’s not where we are right now,” she added. “I think that right now there’s a cover up of the cover up. This really goes beyond.”
By acting so very profound about the whole thing, Pelosi is simultaneously giving the nation the impression that this should not be celebrated, and imbuing whatever gravity she can as the President and his supporters continue to logically shred the democratic argument in confetti for Trump’s 2020 electoral celebration.
