New Poll Shows a SHOCKING Number of Republicans Want to Replace Trump in 2020!

While we continue to meander through what is surely one of the most bizarre election years in modern history, there are no shortage of ways in which the world is trying to make us doubt our political choices.

First and foremost, we have to deal with the glut of infotainment hucksters and expert spinsters who are constantly massaging our news for us.

Then, in a similar-yet-statistical vein are the pollsters, who are used to teaching the math how to behave in order to make their point.  The latest from Rasmussen is just so shocking that many will chalk it up to some arithmetic gone awry.

Republicans overwhelmingly expect President Trump to be their nominee this fall, but nearly one-in-four GOP voters would prefer someone else.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 23% of Likely Republican Voters think their party should find someone other than Trump to be their presidential nominee. Seventy percent (70%) disagree. Only seven percent (7%) are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

By comparison, 28% of Likely Democratic Voters say their party should find someone other than Joe Biden to be their 2020 presidential nominee. Fifty-four percent (54%) disagree, while another 18% are not sure.

But 92% of Democrats think it’s likely Biden will be the nominee. Among Republicans, 95% see Trump as their likely nominee, with 85% who say it’s Very Likely.

Trump and Biden have already begun turning toward one another in their public appearances, figuratively setting the stage for the showdown to come in November.
