POTUS Changes Course, Promotes Vote-By-Mail in SPECIFIC State

For weeks on end, President Trump has been railing against the possibility that Americans could be casting their ballots for the 2020 election by mail.

In Trump’s eyes, this is a surefire way to invite calamity into the process, either by foreign nations who flood the postal service with phony ballots, or by domestic political operatives looking to game the system.  In either case, the President simply hasn’t been willing to give the idea even a sliver of credibility.

Until today, that is.

President Trump tweeted Tuesday afternoon that Florida voters should vote by mail this November, claiming that there is nothing to worry about in terms of security.

The president has generally railed against mail-in voting, claiming that Democrats are going to take advantage of the system to commit fraud and rig the election against him. At this point, however, he appears confident that this will not be the case in the Sunshine State.

“Whether you call it Vote by Mail or Absentee Voting, in Florida the election system is Safe and Secure, Tried and True,” Trump said. “Florida’s Voting system has been cleaned up (we defeated Democrats attempts at change), so in Florida I encourage all to request a Ballot & Vote by Mail!”

Why the sudden change of heart?  No one knows for sure, but the fact that Trump himself will likely be voting via Florida’s absentee balloting system could be a clue.

Were he to vote by mail himself, while disavowing any other locales where this is taking place, the hypocrisy would likely be seized upon by the liberal media.
