Russian War Crimes Intensify in Completely Horrible Way

No matter which of the pathetic excuses being employed by Vladimir Putin you may subscribe to, this alleged “special military operation” going on in Ukraine is little more than international terrorism as this point.

Russia has originally suggested that they were interested in the “denazification” of Ukraine, which is a self-defeating premise for an invasion on account of Ukraine’s President and other high-level lawmakers being Jewish.

But, instead of an attack that specifically targeted certain elements of this so-called “nazi” infestation, Russia has instead begun indiscriminately bombing civilians and employing terrorism.  This now includes shelling areas that have been marked as evacuation corridors.

The Russian defense ministry earlier said it had agreed on evacuation routes with Ukrainian forces for Mariupol, a strategic port in the southeast, and the eastern city of Volnovakha. The vaguely worded statement did not make clear how long the routes would remain open.

“The Russian side is not holding to the cease-fire and has continued firing on Mariupol itself and on its surrounding area,” said Kyrylo Tymoshenko, the deputy head of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s office. “Talks with the Russian Federation are ongoing regarding setting up a cease-fire and ensuring a safe humanitarian corridor.”

This was not an isolated incident.

Russia breached the deal in Volnovakha as well, Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk told reporters. “We appeal to the Russian side to stop firing,” she said. Meanwhile, Moscow outlet RIA Novosti carried a Russian defense ministry claim that the firing came from inside both cities against Russian positions.

The heinous action will almost certainly be added to the list of war crimes having been committed by Russia, that could be military leaders from Moscow at The Hague soon enough.
