State Department Employee Fired

A Department of State contractor has been terminated after undercover video footage surfaced appearing to show him openly admitting to advising illegal migrants on how to evade deportation and expressing extreme, discriminatory views about various ethnic and racial groups.

The video, released by the O’Keefe Media Group, features Arslan Akhtar—previously employed as a visa specialist—making multiple statements that raise serious ethical, legal, and national security concerns. In the footage, Akhtar claims he advised Hispanic illegal immigrants not to speak with law enforcement or admit wrongdoing during immigration encounters, calling it the “ultimate loophole” to avoid removal.

“Don’t talk to the police,” Akhtar says in the video. “Don’t admit the truth… Always maintain your innocence. Don’t give more information.”

The U.S. State Department confirmed Akhtar’s termination, stating:

“The contractor is no longer employed by the U.S. State Department. Upholding the rule of law and protecting the integrity of our immigration system is essential, which is why the Department will launch a new contractor screening and vetting process.”

Beyond his admission of encouraging illegal immigrants to manipulate the legal system, Akhtar is heard making disturbing, racially charged comments—including calling Yemeni visa applicants “conniving” and expressing hatred toward them. He also described white people as a group that seeks to “dominate everybody,” saying he “dismisses the hell out of them” and doesn’t “even want to see them.”

Akhtar further made a threatening statement about Elon Musk, saying he would like to see him “lynched on the streets.”

The State Department issued a strong response on X, warning that these views are incompatible with government service and promising further investigations.

The incident has sparked new questions about contractor oversight and ideological infiltration within key government agencies. The Department has pledged to overhaul its screening procedures to prevent individuals with similar extremist views from entering or remaining within the federal system.
