The 2020 Democratic Primary race has already been a wild one, and with only a few short months left until the liberals will be forced to anoint a nominee, there’s no telling what sort of funny business could lie ahead.
First and foremost, the size of the field itself was exorbitant. This gave the Democrats an aura of haphazardness that wasn’t going to bode well against the well-oiled incumbent President Donald Trump. Now, even with the race whittled down significantly, there is still a very heavy feeling that the left has no idea what they’re doing.
Now, to top it all off, frontrunner Bernie Sanders is having his campaign stops interrupted by half-nude protesters.
A group of topless protesters stormed a Bernie Sanders rally in Nevada Sunday afternoon, throwing paint, fake blood and water on the podium before security whisked them away.
Sen. Sanders, I-Vt., speaking at a rally in Carson City, had just finished introducing his wife as “the next first lady” when a woman ran up to the podium, trying to grab Sanders’ mic.
A visibly irritated Sanders yanked the mic away. The woman then grabbed another mic on the podium.
The scene was nearly unbelievable.
“Bernie, I’m your biggest supporter, and I’m here to ask you to stop propping up the dairy industry and to stop propping up animal agriculture. I believe in you,” the woman said before her mic was cut.
Sanders exited the stage as a chaotic scene unfolded.

Several other women – at least two of whom were topless – joined the first woman on stage. The group threw various liquids on the podium and around the stage before security intervened.
There are still several long months lying ahead for the Democrats, who can only hope that some serenity can arrive within the party before Donald Trump puts them out to pasture in November.
