Trump Offers DOJ Help in ‘Bringing the Temperature Down’

It has become rather obvious that the political dynamic in this nation is such that there is little the federal government can do to quell the turbulence.  In fact, every movement made by the DOJ, FBI, or other government agency seems to further incense some part of the American electorate, leaving only the conclusion that the job of bringing placidity back to our nation may lie with one man and one man only.

That’s why former President Donald Trump is stepping up to offer Attorney General Merrick Garland help, and subtly remind him of the incredible power he wields over the nation.

Former President Donald Trump attempted to convey a cryptic message to Attorney General Merrick Garland following the FBI raid of his Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida, a report says.

According to The New York Times, Trump wanted Garland to know that he had been speaking with people around the country and that they were enraged by the FBI search.

“The country is on fire. What can I do to reduce the heat?” was the message Trump wanted to be conveyed to Garland, a person familiar with the exchange told the paper.

There was no indication as to whether or not Garland received this message before it went public.

Of course, in keeping with a lengthy history of manufactured victimhood, the liberal left began to insinuate that this was somehow a veiled threat aimed at Garland and the nation at large.
