With less than two months remaining until the American people head to the polls, we have yet to witness one of the customary presidential debates that often define the latest stages of these elections.
One of the reasons for this stalling is surely the continued impact of the coronavirus pandemic and the abbreviated campaigning that the candidates have been able to accomplish.
This has largely been seen as a boon to the Biden campaign, however, as the former Vice President has had plenty of trouble just getting through what few events he has held.
Now, President Trump is issuing a major challenge to his opponent, in the form of a 4 hour debate moderated by none other than Joe Rogan.
President Donald Trump on Monday endorsed the idea of a four-hour presidential debate moderated by podcaster Joe Rogan.
The president shared an idea from UFC fighter and special forces operator Tim Kennedy, who spoke about it in an interview with Rogan.
“On my podcast with @joerogan he offered to moderate a debate between Joe Biden and Donald Trump,” Kennedy wrote on Twitter. “It would be four hours with no live audience. Just the two candidates, cameras, and their vision of how to move this country forward. Who wants this?”

The idea of having Joe Rogan moderate a long form presidential debate is nothing new, but this is the first time that any candidate, let alone the incumbent President.
