Another week, another allegedly “major” scandal in the White House.
For months upon months, Donald Trump and his administration have been under attack by democrats, the “resistance”, and the Deep State. This unholy triumvirate or tawdry attacks has kept the White House busy defending the Commander in Chief from the defamatory actions of these groups.
This week was no exception, as a whistleblower from within the White House was found to have filed a formal complaint with the intelligence community’s inspector general regarding a telephone call that he overheard from inside the West Wing.
The whistleblower’s claims are damning, to say the least.
The whistleblower complaint that has triggered a tense showdown between the U.S. intelligence community and Congress involves President Trump’s communications with a foreign leader, according to two former U.S. officials familiar with the matter.
Trump’s interaction with the foreign leader included a “promise” that was regarded as so troubling that it prompted an official in the U.S. intelligence community to file a formal whistleblower complaint with the inspector general for the intelligence community, said the former officials, speaking on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the matter publicly.
President Trump responded to the accusations via Twitter:
….Knowing all of this, is anybody dumb enough to believe that I would say something inappropriate with a foreign leader while on such a potentially “heavily populated” call. I would only do what is right anyway, and only do good for the USA!

Congressional democrats almost immediately demanded answers in the case, with the Department of Justice intervening before any such line of questioning could be effective.
This story is still developing.
