Thursday was a wild one for President Trump and the team of lawyers that he has working his case for reelection.
Rudy Giuliani, Sidney Powell, and Jenna Ellis all took questions during a lengthy presser late in the week, hoping to outline for the American people their belief in a widespread conspiracy of voter fraud and manipulation meant to elect Joe Biden.
The claims made by the group were simply shocking, and prompted Fox News Host Tucker Carlson to reach out to the aforementioned Powell for evidence. When she declined to provide it, Carlson blasted her live, on-air.
Now, Powell is unleashing her fury on Carlson.
“Apparently Mr. Carlson missed the news conference today,” Powell said in a statement late on Thursday, according to Washington Examiner breaking news reporter Anthony Leonardi.
“I would continue to encourage him and all journalists to review all the materials we have provided so far and conduct their own investigations.
“Evidence continues to pour in, but a 5 minute television hit is not my focus now. Collecting evidence and preparing the case are my top priorities,” Powell said.
Powell and Giuliani were insistent that this was only the “opening argument” to their case, and that more evidence would be made available as the case receives attention in the courts.
