Enten Releases New Report

Democrats are in freefall — and the numbers aren’t just bad, they’re historically bad.

The latest Quinnipiac poll has Congressional Democrats at 19% approval — the lowest ever recorded. The Wall Street Journal puts them 30 points underwater with registered voters. CNN’s own survey shows them 26 points underwater, which their data analyst Harry Enten called “breaking records in a way you don’t want to break records.”

And it’s not just domestic issues. Enten also pointed out that Republicans now lead Democrats on foreign policy trust by six points or more — a stunning reversal considering the traditional advantage Democrats once claimed on diplomacy. “In the American voters’ minds, Democrats, simply put, can’t hack it,” Enten bluntly said.

Why? Because voters are watching the difference between a party with an agenda and a party without one. As former Democratic strategist Dan Turrentine admitted: “We have no agenda whatsoever. If we were to get power, I couldn’t tell you what we’d want to do.” That’s not exactly inspiring confidence.

Meanwhile, President Trump is rewriting the rules of foreign policy. He ordered precision strikes on Iran’s nuclear sites in June — moves the media and Democrats initially painted as reckless.

Enten noted that polling on those strikes swung 10 points into the positive once Americans saw that Trump’s actions successfully incapacitated Iran’s facilities without leading to the “doom” predicted by his critics.

This is the same Trump who has brokered ceasefires and peace deals around the globe, brought American hostages home, and secured record-breaking trade agreements that put U.S. interests first. That’s an engaged, proactive foreign policy — not the performative weakness that has defined Democratic leadership.

So when voters say they trust Republicans more on foreign policy, it’s not “despite everything that’s going on.” It’s because of everything that’s going on. They see the difference between Trump’s America First strategy and the Democrats’ visionless drift.
