NC High School Suspends Student Following Controversy

A North Carolina high school student has been punished for using a word that is deemed “offensive and disrespectful” by liberal standards.

Christian McGhee, a 16-year-old student at a high school in North Carolina, was suspended for three days for using the term “illegal alien” in an English assignment. This decision could have lasting effects on his academic record and potentially even impact his ability to attend college.

But what exactly is so offensive about the term “illegal alien”? It is a precise and clinical way to describe someone who is not a legal resident of the country. The word “illegal” simply means “not legal,” and “alien” refers to a foreigner. By using this term, Christian was being accurate and descriptive. So why is he being punished for it?

The liberals would have you believe that the term “undocumented American” should be used instead, but this is simply not accurate. While these individuals may have documentation in their home country, they do not have legal documentation here. The suggestion to use “dreamer,” “future citizen,” or even “future Democrat voter” is just a thinly veiled attempt to push their own political agenda.

It is sad that a student is punished for using clear and precise language in an English assignment. Is this the type of education our children are receiving? In a country where we value freedom of speech and expression, how can this type of censorship be allowed in our schools?

Unfortunately, this is just a tiny part of the larger problem with our education system. In sex education classes, students are being taught that boys can be girls and girls can be boys. This is not education. It is mal-education.

They are also being taught that our country is evil and was founded on genocide, which is not history. It is anti-history. And don’t even get me started on Common Core math, a so-called “anti-math” that only confuses and frustrates students.

And now, to add insult to injury, students who strive to write and speak well are being punished. This is not English, this is anti-writing and anti-rhetoric. It is mal-education at its finest.

This particular school and its teachers should be ashamed of themselves. Their actions not only cross political lines but also fail to do their jobs effectively. As we all know, education is the key to success, and if our children are being taught nonsense and cannot use the English language correctly, we are setting them up for failure.
