Joy Behar Has UNFORGIVABLE Take on Trump Voters and Train Derailment

If there is one defining and despicable trait about the modern Democratic Party, it’s their uncanny ability, (and willingness), to exploit tragedy for political gain.

In fact, there are some on the left side of the aisle who have eschewed any subtlety that they once had regarding this unholy lack of shame, suggesting outright, and in public no less, that they need to harness the grim value of a crisis in order to keep their political dreams afloat.

This week brought us even more proof of this, as a liberal television commentator attempted to blame Donald Trump supporters in Ohio for the hazardous train derailment that occurred earlier this month and the ecological nightmare that will continue to plague the region for decades to come.

Joy Behar shocked audience members of “The View” on Thursday when she implied that Donald Trump-voting residents of East Palestine, Ohio, have nobody to blame but themselves for the toxic train derailment that’s rocked the small town.

Gasps could be heard from the crowd after the comment by Behar, who also insinuated that the devastating Feb. 3 derailment was a result of the former president’s actions in the White House.

“I don’t know why they would ever vote for him, for somebody who, by the way, he placed someone with deep ties to the chemical industry in charge of the EPA’s chemical safety office,” said Behar, 80.

Then, pointing her finger and her glare directly into the camera, Behar took her vitriol up a notch.

“That’s who you voted for in that district. Donald Trump, who reduces all safety.”

The crowd gasped at Behar’s finger-pointing but didn’t seem to have much of a reaction when co-host Sunny Hostin quipped, “I think this is Donald Trump’s fault” just before the show went to a commercial break.

This pathetic attempt to shame the former President came on the heels of Trump’s trip to the affected region, during which he delivered truckloads of bottled water and other supplies to the frightened community.

As of this writing, President Joe Biden has yet to visit East Palestine – a fact that provided Donald Trump with some serious ammunition to use during his time in the region.
