Israel Forces Release Discovery Of Weapons Cache

The dissolution of USAID may have closed a chapter, but the consequences of its operations are far from over. The agency, long criticized for its wasteful spending and lack of oversight, has left behind a troubling legacy—one that now includes evidence of its aid packages falling into the hands of Hezbollah.

Israeli forces recently uncovered a Hezbollah weapons cache in Lebanon, and amidst the expected rifles, anti-tank missiles, and explosives, they found something else: USAID humanitarian packages.

The revelation underscores a grim reality—American taxpayer dollars have once again found their way to a designated terrorist organization.

This discovery follows closely on the heels of another scandal involving the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), which was exposed for having direct ties to Hamas. Given that revelation, it should come as no surprise that another major aid organization has similarly failed to prevent its resources from ending up in the wrong hands.

Former IDF soldier Asher Fredman, now with the Misgav Institute for National Security and Zionist Strategy, relayed the details to the New York Post, offering a damning summary: “From the American taxpayer to Hezbollah, with love.”

His firsthand account paints a disturbing picture—USAID-branded supplies sitting alongside deadly weaponry in an undisclosed Hezbollah-controlled village in Lebanon.

This is just the latest in a long series of examples showcasing USAID’s lack of accountability. The agency has been accused of funneling money into media operations that functioned as little more than state propaganda, and now, evidence suggests it has indirectly supported terrorist networks.

The real concern is what this signals about the broader landscape of U.S. government spending. If a relatively small agency like USAID was capable of such staggering negligence, what might be uncovered if larger institutions—such as the Pentagon or the Department of Education—were subjected to full audits?
