After a long witch hunt, New York Attorney General Letitia James has finally gotten her way and coerced a judge into ordering Trump to pay a whopping $354 million in a civil fraud case. That’s right, folks, the deep state has struck again.
In an exclusive interview with ABC News, James boasted about her victory, hinting at her eagerness to pounce on Trump’s assets should he not be able to come up with the cash. Talk about a power trip – it seems like James has been waiting for this day for a long time.
“If he does not have funds to pay off the judgment, then we will seek judgment enforcement mechanisms in court, and we will ask the judge to seize his assets,” James said.
But let’s not forget, this case is just another baseless attack. Trump has vehemently denied any wrongdoing and has already announced his intention to appeal the ruling.
In her interview, James claimed that Trump inflated his net worth in order to secure more favorable loan terms.
But James didn’t stop there. She also had to take a jab at Trump’s esteemed 40 Wall Street skyscraper, insinuating that it may be seized to cover the judgment. Talk about playing dirty – this is just another tactic to try and bring Trump down.
“We are prepared to make sure that the judgment is paid to New Yorkers, and yes, I look at 40 Wall Street each and every day,” James said.
