Welcome to the latest installment of the Kathy Hochul Show, where the Governor of New York continues her grand tradition of insulting her constituents while desperately trying to cling to political relevance.
In her recent media appearance with CNN’s Jake Tapper, Hochul managed to call Trump supporters “clowns” while inadvertently putting on a clown show of her own.
Governor Hochul, in her infinite wisdom, dismissed former President Donald Trump’s Bronx rally, describing it as a circus led by a “ringleader” with his “clowns” in tow. It’s almost as if Hochul has forgotten that these so-called “clowns” are New Yorkers, the very people she is supposed to represent. But then again, Hochul’s track record of disrespect towards those who don’t share her political views is well-documented.
🚨WOW – EVER WONDER WHAT OVER 30,000 PEOPLE AT A TRUMP RALLY LOOKS LIKE?
OVER 111,000 PEOPLE ARE WATCHING RIGHTFUL PRESIDENT TRUMP’S BRONX RALLY ON RUMBLE ALONE, AS WELL!
Amazing footage from @DanScavino!
It sure would be a shame if this went viral and blew up in AOC’s face! pic.twitter.com/7SfbcZB7Pp

Remember her infamous 2022 tirade? “We’re here to say that the era of Trump and Zeldin and Molinaro — just jump on a bus and head down to Florida where you belong. Get out of town,” she said. Clearly, Kathy Hochul’s strategy for unity involves telling millions of New Yorkers to pack up and leave the state. One has to wonder if she believes that anyone who disagrees with her should simply disappear.
The Trump campaign was quick to fire back, stating that Hochul is simply “upset that President Trump is pulling crowds in her state that she could only dream of.” Indeed, it must be quite a shock for Hochul to see the enthusiasm and support that Trump still garners, especially in a state that has been a Democratic stronghold for decades. With a recent Siena College poll showing Biden with just a nine-point lead over Trump in New York, it seems the tide might be shifting. Could it be that New Yorkers are finally waking up to the disaster that is the current Democratic leadership?

David Laska, director of communications for the New York GOP, didn’t mince words in his response to Hochul’s latest outburst. He pointed out her “shocking level of intolerance and disdain” for a significant portion of New York’s population, calling for her to apologize to the hardworking citizens she continues to alienate. Laska’s comments also highlighted Hochul’s history of divisive remarks, including her previous statement about Catholics and her condescending view of Black children.
It’s a sad day when the Governor of New York resorts to name-calling and divisive rhetoric instead of addressing the real issues facing her state. Crime is skyrocketing, taxes are through the roof, and businesses are fleeing. But instead of rolling up her sleeves and getting to work, Hochul chooses to play the part of the political elite, looking down on the very people who elected her.

The irony here is rich. Hochul accuses Trump of being “just for himself,” while she parades her elitist attitude, alienating millions of New Yorkers. Her comments echo the infamous “basket of deplorables” remark made by Hillary Clinton in 2016. How did that work out for Clinton? One would think Hochul would learn from history, but apparently, she’s too busy perfecting her own act in this circus of political theater.
Kathy Hochul’s latest comments are a glaring reminder of the Democratic Party’s disconnect from everyday Americans. While she continues to insult and alienate, President Trump is out there rallying support and addressing the concerns of the people. New York deserves better than a governor who dismisses and derides a significant portion of its population. Perhaps it’s time for Hochul to step off the stage and let someone else take the lead.
