This week, seven brave pro-life activists were sentenced to prison for their peaceful protest at a late-term abortion facility in Washington, D.C.
The Biden administration, in their never-ending quest to push their radical pro-abortion agenda, prosecuted these activists for exercising their First Amendment rights and standing up for the most vulnerable among us.
These seven activists, including Lauren Handy, John Hinshaw, and William Goodman, were arrested after they sang songs, prayed, and locked arms outside of the Washington Surgi-Clinic, a notorious abortion facility. They even went as far as attaching themselves with ropes and chains to block doors inside the building, all in an effort to speak out against the barbaric act of late-term abortions peacefully.
But it seems that the Biden administration is willing to use any means necessary to silence those who dare to speak out against their pro-abortion policies. These activists were charged with violating the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act and conspiracy against rights, which carries a sentence of over a decade in prison.
In a stunning display of hypocrisy, the Biden administration, which claims to stand for civil rights, has shown that they will not tolerate any form of opposition to their agenda. The FBI and other law enforcement agencies have been quick to act, sending a clear message that they will not hesitate to arrest and prosecute pro-life activists who peacefully protest against the abortion industry.
Meanwhile, Biden continues to pander to terrorists and turn a blind eye to the real issues facing our nation. While he was giving a commencement address at Morehouse College, he shamefully clapped when a call for an “immediate and permanent ceasefire” in Gaza was made, completely ignoring the plight of our ally Israel in the midst of constant rocket attacks from Hamas.

But perhaps the most disturbing aspect of this whole ordeal is the treatment of the pro-life activists while in federal custody. Some of these activists, like Heather Idoni and Jean Marshall, have not been provided with necessary medical treatment for pre-existing conditions. It is appalling that the Biden administration is more concerned with appeasing terrorists than ensuring the well-being of American citizens in their custody.
This is just another example of the Biden administration’s radical agenda to push unrestricted abortion, no matter the cost. But we will not be silenced or intimidated. We will continue to peacefully stand up for the rights of the unborn and fight against the violence of abortion. And come election time, we will show the Biden administration that we will not stand for their pro-abortion, anti-civil rights agenda.
