Trump Responds To Comment

Former President Donald Trump slammed President Joe Biden on Saturday for apologizing for calling the illegal alien who murdered a young woman in Georgia an “illegal.” Trump stated that Biden should apologize for “apologizing to this killer.”

During his State of the Union speech, Biden referred to the suspect as an “illegal,” to which Trump said: “He didn’t want to call him ‘illegal,’ supposedly.” The suspect, Venezuelan national Jose Ibarra, is an active gang member who allegedly murdered 22-year-old nursing student Laken Riley.

At a political rally in Georgia, Trump criticized the new terminology that is being used to refer to illegal aliens, such as “undocumented” or “newcomers,” stating that they are “going crazy” and that this country is “going crazy.” He emphasized that the correct term is “illegal alien” and that under his policies, Ibarra would never have been able to enter the country.

“He said he should have called him an ‘undocumented,’ not an ‘illegal,’ and he wanted to apologize,” Trump continued. “He wanted to apologize. And well, they have a new name, too. They have a new name that’s even worse. They have a new name, you know what the new name is? ‘Neighbor.’ They want to call them ‘neighbor.’ They want to call them another name. Did you ever hear the other one? ‘Newcomer.’ A newcomer to our country. Are we going crazy, or what? Is this country going crazy? How about that one? Newcomer, the newcomer. No, he was illegal, and I say he was an illegal alien. He was an illegal immigrant. He was an illegal migrant, and he shouldn’t have been in our country, and he never would have been under the Trump policy.”

Trump also pointed out that Biden’s terminology change ignores the fact that these individuals are breaking the law by entering the country illegally. He stated that Biden’s policies will lead to more illegal immigration and put American citizens at risk.

Biden’s apology came during an MSNBC interview, where he corrected an interviewer who asked about the suspect being called “illegal.” Biden interrupted and said, “Undocumented, he’s an undocumented person.” This is another example of the Biden administration minimizing the illegal actions of individuals who enter the country unlawfully.

“And I shouldn’t have used ‘illegal,’ it’s undocumented,” Biden claimed, even though the correct legal terminology is, in fact, “illegal alien.”

“And look, when I spoke about the difference between Trump and me, one of the things I talked about at the border was his, the way he talks about vermin, the way he talks about these people polluting the blood,” he continued. “And I talked about what I’m not going to do, what I won’t do, I’m not gonna treat any, any, any of these people with disrespect. Look, they built the country. The reason our economy is growing. We have to control the border and more orderly flow, but I don’t share his view at all.”

Even more shocking is that Biden stated that he regrets using the word “illegal” and believes it should be changed to “undocumented.” There is nothing more about the poor, innocent young girl murdered. Just that he regrets calling an illegal migrant an illegal. What is happening? This shows a clear shift in the way the current administration views illegal immigration.

Biden also mentioned Trump’s views on immigration, stating that he doesn’t share the former president’s view of treating “these people” with disrespect. But the reality is, illegal aliens pose a threat to our national security and must be dealt with appropriately, not coddled and given special treatment.

As we can see, Biden’s policies are more concerned with appeasing the left and downplaying the severity of illegal immigration.
